Job summary

Spectrum is hiring an Outside Sales Representative who will engage directly with the community to expand high-speed data and communication solutions. The role requires face-to-face interactions, driving commissions that can boost total compensation beyond $100,000 annually.

Responsibilities include acquiring new customers, conducting needs analyses, presenting tailored proposals, and maintaining accurate sales documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to travel to and work in assigned territories, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and introducing Spectrum’s offerings.
• Conduct consultative needs analyses to tailor product recommendations for each prospective customer.
• Present compelling sales proposals that align with customer needs and Spectrum’s solutions.
• Complete all required sales documentation accurately, including dispositioning, order entry and reporting.
• Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to support team goals and professional development.
• Achieve monthly sales targets across high-speed data, mobile, landline, and video services.
• Monitor competitors’ activities within your territory and report insights to your manager.
