Job summary

Cable One is seeking a Field Technician to install and service customer drops and outlets in both residential and commercial settings. You will use test equipment to diagnose issues, ensure correct signal levels, and educate customers on their equipment and potential upgrades.

Prospective candidates should have a good driving record, be able to lift up to 80 lbs, work on ladders, and endure various weather conditions. A valid driver’s license and high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 3 months of customer service or related experience or training.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to work overtime and on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Connect customers to desired services by installing drops/outlets in residential and business properties.
• Troubleshoot using electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools to resolve reception and signal issues.
• Maintain proper upstream/downstream signal levels at each termination on customer premises.
• Educate customers on equipment and upgrade recommendations.
