Job summary

Cable One is seeking a Field Technician to install customer service drops, troubleshoot with diagnostic tools, and ensure signal quality on customer premises. You’ll work residential and business locations, using a company truck and tools provided for the role.

The ideal candidate has a good driving record, at least 3 months in customer service, and is comfortable lifting up to 100 lbs and working in varied weather conditions. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months of customer service or related experience and/or training.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Able to work in small, confined spaces and lift up to 100 lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime and on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install customer service drops or outlets in residential and commercial properties.
• Use electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot service drops and outlets.
• Diagnose and repair reception performance issues and ensure proper signal levels.
• Suggest upgrades and educate customers on equipment and services.
