Job summary

Cable One is seeking a Field Technician to install and troubleshoot customer service drops and outlets for residential and business customers. You will use electronic test equipment and diagnostics to diagnose reception issues and resolve problems from customer premises to the first distribution amplifier.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Overtime and on-call flexibility are expected.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills during customer interactions.
• Ability to work in small/ confined spaces and lift up to 80 lbs.
• 3+ months of customer service or related experience or training.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Install customer service drops or outlets in homes and businesses.
• Use electronic test equipment and diagnostics to troubleshoot and repair issues.
• Ensure proper signal levels upstream and downstream at each termination.
• Educate customers on new equipment and potential upgrades.
• This role may take on additional duties to support the organization’s goals.
