Job summary

Sparklight, a Cable One brand, is seeking a Field Technician to install and service customer drops and outlets in residential and business settings. You will use diagnostic tools and test equipment to diagnose issues and ensure proper signal levels, while educating customers on available upgrades.

The role offers extensive training, mentorship across the company, uniforms, a company vehicle, and a competitive benefits package. Travel within the region may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Flexibility to work overtime/on-call as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs., climb ladders, and work in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Install customer service drops or outlets in residential and business properties.
• Use electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair signal issues.
• Ensure proper upstream/downstream signal levels at each termination.
• Educate customers on equipment and upgrades.
• Perform other duties to support company goals.
