Job summary

Cable One is seeking a Field Technician to install customer service drops and outlets across residential and business properties. You will use electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot reception issues and repair problems from customer premises to the first distribution amplifier.

You will be trained extensively, receive a company truck and tools, and benefit from a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, health benefits from day one, a 401(k) match, and tuition

Qualifications

3+ months of customer service or related experience or training.
Valid driver’s license in the applying state.
High school diploma or GED required.
Willingness to overtime and be on-call as needed.
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs, climb ladders, and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Install customer service drops or outlets in residential and business properties.
Use training and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair reception performance issues.
Ensure proper upstream and downstream signal levels at each termination.
Educate customers on new/existing equipment and potential upgrades.
Perform other duties as needed to support company goals and values.
