Job summary

Cable One is seeking a Field Technician to install customer services and troubleshoot performance issues for residential and commercial properties. You will receive extensive training, mentoring, and a company truck with tools and uniforms to perform your duties.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver's license and reliable driving record.
• Experience in customer service or related training is preferred.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work on ladders in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Connect customers by installing drops or outlets in homes or businesses.
• Use electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues and fix reception problems.
• Ensure proper upstream and downstream signal levels at each termination.
• Educate customers on new/existing equipment and suggest upgrades when appropriate.
• Perform other duties to support the company’s needs and values.
