Cable One, a Sparklight company, is seeking a Field Technician in Bluffton, SC. You’ll receive extensive training, mentorship across the company, and a company truck with the necessary tools to perform the job.

You will install customer service drops, diagnose performance issues with electronic test equipment, ensure proper signal levels, and educate customers on equipment upgrades. The role offers a strong benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of application.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and work on a ladder.
• Willing to work overtime and on-call as needed.
• Minimum 3 months of customer service or related experience.
• Equivalent education/experience accepted.

Responsabilidades

• Install customer service drops or outlets in residential and business properties.
• Use electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues.
• Diagnose and repair reception and signal issues from customer equipment to the first distribution amplifier.
• Ensure proper upstream and downstream signal levels at customer terminations.
• Proactively suggest upgrades and educate customers on equipment.
