Job summary

Cable One is seeking a Field Technician in Boise, ID to install and troubleshoot customer service drops and outlets for residential and commercial properties. You will receive extensive training, mentoring, and a company truck with provided tools and uniforms, plus a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ months of customer service or related experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Lift up to 80 lbs., climb ladders, and work in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to work overtime and on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install customer service drops or outlets in residential and business properties.
• Use electronic test equipment and online diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair issues.
• Ensure proper upstream and downstream signal levels at each termination.
• Educate customers on new and existing equipment and suggest upgrades.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the organization.
