Job summary
Mi-Jack Products, Inc. in the United States is seeking a field service technician to maintain and repair heavy lift equipment outdoors, including railjacks and forklifts. You will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems, train staff, perform preventive maintenance, and travel nationally and internationally, including to Canada. Strong field experience and safety focus are essential.
Qualifications
High School graduate with 5–10 years in service and repair of industrial equipment.
Capable of reading variable schematic logic for electrical and hydraulic systems.
Field certificates / endorsements are positively reviewed.
Responsibilities
Inspect and repair heavy lift equipment outdoors (gantry cranes, railjacks, forklifts, welders, service trucks).
Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, diesel and mechanical systems.
Provide training and technical knowledge on equipment.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
Interface with customers and internal teams to support needs.
Recommend repairs and document work orders clearly.
Ensure safety and regulatory compliance on site and during travel.
Travel domestically and internationally, including Canada, for service and training.
