Job summary

MI-JACK PRODUCTS is seeking a field service technician to work outdoors on heavy lift equipment such as gantry cranes, railjacks, forklifts, welders and service trucks. You will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems and perform preventive maintenance.

Domestic and international travel up to 75% including Canada; require high school diploma and 5–10 years in service of industrial equipment; must pass background checks and have valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 5–10 years of service/repair experience on industrial equipment.
• Expert knowledge of hydraulics, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Capable of reading variable schematic logic for low/high voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair heavy lift equipment (electrical, hydraulic, diesel, mechanical).
• Provide training and technical knowledge to customers and staff.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Travel domestically and internationally to customer sites as required.
• Maintain safety, health, and environmental compliance.
