Job summary

Mi-Jack Products seeks a field service technician to work onsite in a heavy equipment environment, including railjacks, forklifts and service trucks. You will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, provide technical training, and perform preventive maintenance across a range of equipment.

The role requires reading electrical/hydraulic schematics, ability to self-schedule within yards, and willingness to travel within the western region if needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of field service experience or completion of field service technician education.
• Field related certificates and endorsements are positively reviewed.
• Capable of reading variable schematic logic for electrical and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment – electrical, hydraulic, diesel and mechanical.
• Provide training and technical knowledge on full range of equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment.
• Support customers by interfacing with customer and office in repairing equipment as needed.
• Read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics on a wide range of equipment.
• Self-starter ability to find work within yards beyond what was scheduled.
