Job summary

Mi-Jack Products, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to work outdoors on heavy lift equipment such as gantry cranes, railjacks, forklifts and service trucks.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance, and provide training on a full range of equipment to customers and junior staff. Strong documentation and communication skills are essential for accurate work orders and service reports.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 5–10 years of service and repair experience on industrial equipment.
• Expert knowledge of hydraulics, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read schematics and travel cross-border.
• Field certificates are positively reviewed.

Responsibilities

• Work outdoors on heavy lift equipment including gantry cranes, railjacks, forklifts, welders, service trucks and other equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, diesel and mechanical systems.
• Provide training and technical knowledge on full range of equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment.
• Support customers by interfacing with them and internally as needed.
• Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs.
• Provide clear work orders and reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
