Job summary

MI-JACK PRODUCTS is seeking an experienced field service technician to work outdoors on heavy lift equipment, including gantry cranes, railjacks, and forklifts. Travel domestically and internationally to customer sites for service, maintenance, and training.

The role requires extensive knowledge of hydraulics, electrical and mechanical systems, with 5–10 years in industrial equipment service. Candidates must be able to read schematics and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Required: High School graduate or equivalent with 5–10 years of service/repair experience on industrial equipment.
• Expert knowledge of hydraulics, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Field certificates/endorsements reviewed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair heavy lift equipment outdoors (gantry cranes, railjacks, forklifts).
• Provide training and technical knowledge on equipment ranges.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities.
• Prepare clear work orders and reports.
