Job summary

MI-JACK PRODUCTS is seeking an experienced field service technician to install, repair and maintain heavy lift equipment in outdoor environments. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic and mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and train customers and coworkers. Expect frequent travel across the U.S.

Qualifications

• High School graduate with 5–10 years’ experience in service/repair of industrial equipment; hydraulics, electrical and mechanical systems expert.
• Field certificates/endorsements reviewed; able to read variable schematic logic for low/high voltage electrical and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Work outdoors on heavy lift equipment such as gantry cranes, railjacks, forklifts, welders and service trucks.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment – electrical, hydraulic, diesel and mechanical.
• Provide training and technical knowledge on the full range of equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment.
• Travel domestically and internationally (Canada) for service, repairs, maintenance and training.
