Job summary

Mi-Jack Products seeks a skilled field service technician to work outdoors on heavy lift equipment such as gantry cranes, railjacks, forklifts, welders and service trucks. You will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.

You will train others, generate clear work orders, and travel domestically and internationally (Canada). A strong safety mindset and ability to work at heights are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 5–10 years in service/repair of industrial equipment.
• Capable of reading variable schematic logic for electrical and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, diesel and mechanical systems.
• Provide training and technical knowledge on a full range of equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities.
• Interface with customers to support service needs.
• Evaluate repairs and document work orders clearly.
• Travel domestically and internationally, including Canada.
• Ensure safety, health and environmental compliance.
