Job summary

MI-JACK PRODUCTS in Savannah, GA seeks an experienced field service technician to install, repair and maintain heavy lift equipment in outdoor environments. Travel up to 75% domestically and internationally to Canada for service, training, and upgrades.

You will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, diesel and mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, train customers and coworkers, and ensure strict safety compliance on all jobs.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in service and repair of industrial equipment.
• Expert knowledge of hydraulics, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Able to read schematics and variable logic for low/high voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment – electrical, hydraulic, diesel and mechanical.
• Provide training and technical knowledge on full range of equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment.
• Travel domestically and internationally, including to Canada, to perform service, repairs, maintenance, and training as required.
• Support customers by interfacing with customer and internal teams as needed.
• Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs.
• Provide clear work order documentation and reports when needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Assist in delivering required training to coworkers.
• Special projects or work as assigned.
