Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking Field Technicians to perform on-site sampling and testing of fresh concrete and related materials. You will run slump, air, temperature tests, and cylinder casts, documenting results the same day.

No prior experience required—the company trains you, and pays for your certifications, including ACI Field Grade I and nuclear gauge safety certification as you progress.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Reliable, detail-focused and coachable.
• ACI Field Grade I and nuclear gauge certification a plus (sponsored).

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to placement locations.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on the spot.
