Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample fresh concrete, perform slump, air, temperature, and cylinder tests, and verify site compaction using a nuclear density gauge. Training is provided and certifications are sponsored as you progress.

You will document results the same day, communicate findings to superintendents on site, and grow into roles such as Senior Field Technician or Special Inspector through structured training and on-the-job experience.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Entry-level friendly with certification sponsorship.
• Must have a valid driver9 license.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to placement locations.
• Maintain gauge standardization and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on site.
