Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample and test concrete, run slump tests, verify soil compaction, and document results on the same day. No prior experience required as training and certifications are provided, including ACI Field Grade I and nuclear gauge sponsorship.

You will work outdoors, handle equipment, and coordinate with superintendents to relay accurate results. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and precise record-keeping across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable outdoors in variable conditions.
• Reliable, detail-first, and coachable.
• We sponsor ACI Field Grade I and nuclear gauge certifications.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, C31; run field density/moisture tests per ASTM D6938; prepare daily field reports.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody; communicate results to superintendents on site.
• Support field testing in multiple sites; update records and ensure accuracy of results.
