Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample fresh concrete, run slump, air, and temperature tests, and cast cylinders on placement sites. You will verify density with a nuclear gauge, document every result the same day, and report directly to superintendents on-site.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive field training is provided, and certifications such as ACI Field Grade I and NICET are sponsored as you progress.

Qualifications

• No experience required; structured field training provided.
• ACI Field Grade I and NICET progression sponsored by the company.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Comfortable outdoors in varying weather; physically capable of lifting.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938; document results daily.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on-site.
