Job summary

PowerSecure is seeking an experienced Service Technician – Commercial Generators to maintain and repair generator and power distribution equipment at customer sites. The role includes technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects and requires readiness for field travel.

The position emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and hands-on expertise with engine diagnostics, ATS/RTU systems, and electrical schematics, with opportunities for advancement and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent; military experience considered.
• Experience: Level II–IV Technician with progressive field experience on generators and power distribution equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of contracted equipment and support customers on operations/maintenance.
• Provide 24x7 on-call service as required.
• Coordinate on-site subcontractors and maintain field documentation.
• Travel to customer sites and uphold safety standards.
