Job summary

PowerSecure seeks an experienced Service Technician for Commercial Generators to perform maintenance and repair on contracted and non-contracted equipment. You will also provide technical support to customers on operations and maintenance.

Responsibilities include on-site servicing, preventative maintenance, and documenting service activities. Travel and 24x7 support may be required, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Three years of field experience servicing generator systems (Level II).
• Six years of field experience with 500KW+ gensets and paralleling switchgear (Level III).
• Ten years of field experience across sizes and applications with preventative maintenance (Level IV).
• High school diploma or GED; related military or field experience.

Responsibilities

• Daily field service for generator and power distribution equipment.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support as required.
• Maintain equipment and tools; perform preventative maintenance.
• Capture service reports and time/expense data accurately.
• Offer technical customer support and documentations.
