Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking an experienced Network Operations Technician to support sites in Northern Nevada from Reno to the Utah border. Applicants should reside in the area or be willing to relocate at hire.

The role focuses on maintaining and improving network performance and reliability, applying technical knowledge to deliver outages resolutions, and driving process improvements. Strong knowledge of 5G NR, RAN, and disaster recovery is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.
• 2-4 years field operations and maintenance experience preferred.
• 2-4 years wireless telecommunications or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues and contribute to outage resolution efforts
• Manage smaller projects or project segments, delivering accurate status and progress updates as required
• Identify and recommend process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities to senior staff and management
• Assist in developing job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation in collaboration with senior technicians
• Complete required training to maintain current knowledge of systems, products, and organizational standards
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
