Job summary

T-Mobile USA, Inc. is seeking a Technician to support network operations across Northern Nevada from Reno to the Utah border. The role applies technical knowledge to maintain and improve network performance and reliability, handling outages, projects, and process improvements.

Relocation assistance may be available for eligible candidates. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 2–4 years in field operations or wireless telecommunications, and strong knowledge of 5G NR, RAN,

Qualifications

5G New Radio (NR) is required
Base Station is required
Continuous Development is required
Disaster Recovery Planning is required
Network Troubleshooting is required
Project Management is required
Radio Access Networks (RAN) is required
Technical Support is required
Wireless Backhaul is required
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues and contribute to outage resolution efforts
Manage smaller projects or project segments, delivering accurate status and progress updates as required
Identify and recommend process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities to senior staff and management
Assist in developing job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation in collaboration with senior technicians
Complete required training to maintain current knowledge of systems, products, and organizational standards
Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
