Job summary

T-Mobile USA, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician to support our Engineering & Operations team across the Piedmont Triad region and the NC/VA border.

You will cover a wide area, performing technical support, project coordination, and operational tasks to improve network performance and reliability. The role requires RAN, 5G NR, and wireless backhaul knowledge, plus the ability to work independently in a dynamic landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 2–4 years working experience in Field Operations and maintenance.
• 2–4 years wireless telecommunications or related experience.
• Strong RF, antenna, fiber, power systems knowledge and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues and outages.
• Manage smaller projects or project segments with status updates.
• Identify and recommend process improvements for maintenance and repair.
• Develop job aids, scopes of work, and documentation with senior technicians.
• Complete required training to stay current with systems and standards.
• Contribute to other duties as assigned.
