Job summary

T-Mobile USA, Inc. is seeking a field-side Technician to support sites along Highway 50 from Folsom to Lake Tahoe. You will apply technical knowledge to maintain and improve network performance and reliability, manage smaller projects, and contribute to process improvements.

You should understand radio access networks, backhaul, signaling, disaster recovery, data services, and location-based services. Applicants should live in the area or be willing to relocate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years working experience in Field Operations and maintenance (Preferred).
• 2–4 years Wireless telecommunications or related experience (Preferred).
• 5G NR, RAN, and network troubleshooting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues and contribute to outage resolution.
• Manage smaller projects or project segments, delivering accurate status and progress updates.
• Identify and recommend process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities to senior staff and management.
• Assist in developing job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation with senior technicians.
• Complete required training to maintain current knowledge of systems, products, and organizational standards.
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed.
