Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking an impactful Field Technician to support the Southwestern Kentucky area, covering a wide site footprint and maintaining network performance. The role blends technical support, project management, and operational tasks to ensure high reliability and service quality for customers.

The position requires knowledge of radio access networks, backhaul, 5G NR, and disaster recovery, with opportunities to grow through ongoing training and hands-on experience in a dynamic telecom

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
• Acceptable areas of study include Vocational/Technical Training or related field (Preferred)
• 2-4 years - Working experience in Field Operations and maintenance.
• 2-4 years - Wireless telecommunications or other related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues and contribute to outage resolution efforts
• Manage smaller projects or project segments, delivering accurate status and progress updates as required
• Identify and recommend process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities to senior staff and management
• Assist in developing job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation in collaboration with senior technicians
• Complete required training to maintain current knowledge of systems, products, and organizational standards
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
