Hawkins, Inc. in Frankfort, KY is seeking a Technical Sales Representative (Route Sales) to own a territory, deliver solutions, and build long-term customer relationships through field visits and on‑the‑job training.

The role combines sales, service and delivery, with 10+ hour weeks and occasional overnight routes. Requirements include a high school diploma, ability to obtain Class B CDL with Hazmat, pass DOT physical and drug screen, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to obtain and maintain a Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement (must be 21+).
• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
• Strong communication skills and follow-through.
• Prior sales experience or the ability to learn.
• Physically able to lift 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally, and operate a forklift.
• Able to work in all weather conditions and environments.

Responsibilities

• Call on existing and new customers to grow business with sales efforts and technical support.
• Develop productive relationships with customers.
• Safely deliver chemical products to customers in a company truck.
• Provide hands-on service of equipment, including inspection and adjustments.
• Support branch operations including warehouse tasks like shipping, receiving, and inventory.
