Job summary

Hawkins Inc. is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to own an assigned territory, manage a schedule, and build long-term customer relationships. The role blends sales, service, and hands-on work with on-the-job training.

You will drive a route, learn technical and sales skills, and work roughly Monday to Friday with occasional overnight routes. Base pay with commission opportunities is highlighted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to obtain and maintain a Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement (must be 21+).
• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
• Strong communication skills and follow-through.
• Prior sales experience or the ability to learn.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Physically able to lift 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally, safely operate a forklift, climb in and out of the truck.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Call on existing and new customers to grow business through sales and technical support of chemical products/equipment.
• Develop productive relationships with customers.
• Deliver chemical and other products to customers using the company truck.
• Provide hands-on service of equipment including inspection and adjustments.
• Support branch operations including warehouse functions like shipping, receiving, and inventory.
