Job summary

Hawkins Inc. in Minnesota seeks a Technical Sales Representative (Route Sales) to own a territory, manage a field-based schedule, and deliver solutions to customers. You will learn technical and sales skills through paid on-the-job training while earning base pay and commission opportunities.

In this role you will call on existing and new customers, deliver and service chemical products, and support branch operations. A Class B CDL with Hazmat is required; overnight travel may occur.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills essential.
• Prior sales experience or the ability to learn is preferred.
• Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds and operating in various weather conditions.
• Able to obtain and maintain a Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Call on existing and new customers to grow business through sales and technical support.
• Deliver chemical products safely with a company truck and provide equipment service.
• Develop productive relationships with customers and assist branch operations.
• Support warehouse tasks including receiving and inventory as needed.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory with occasional overnight routes.
