Job summary

NTT DATA seeks a Field Tech Associate to join our team in Marietta, GA. The role covers field IT support, installs, moves, adds, changes, and decommissions, plus hardware/software break-fix and Smarthand support for security and VDI per the Managed Client process.

Applicants must have an active driver’s license, be willing to travel between sites, and complete background checks. The starting pay range is $40,000–$45,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in End user support - ITSM incidents, requests and IMAC.
• 1+ years’ experience in desktop support with standard apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Flash) and customized applications.
• 1+ years’ experience in hardware including video conference, desktop/laptop, printer, scanner, desk phone, Smarthand support, IMAC-D.
• 1+ years’ experience in end user support with Citrix, VPN, Antivirus and SCCM Client WiseClient, SonicWall, Cisco, F5 VPN.
• 1+ years’ on-site hands-on Field Services in an SLA environment.
• Must pass GBI fingerprinting/background check and GA DOR tax clearance within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Travel between sites is required; mileage is reimbursed.
• Execute service delivery with installs, moves, adds, changes, decommissions, refresh, hardware and software break-fix, and Smarthand support for security and VDI.
• Coordinate with client end users on expectations and schedules.
• Meet Service Level Agreements on all services performed.
• Update system of record for delivery incidents and requests.
• Update asset management information for assets receiving services.
• Identify issues that could impact end-user experience and assist in action plans.
• Utilize advanced tools and technical knowledge to remediate incidents and conduct installs.
• Escalate to Field Services Supervisor for issues impacting the end-user environment.
• Continuously improve technical skills and share knowledge.
