Job summary

NTT DATA in the United States is seeking a Skilled Services Technician with solid IT experience to perform basic equipment setup, configure software, and support client sites. You will collaborate with the engineering team to install and test software and hardware, maintain servers and network gear, and provide remote and on-site technical support.

You will diagnose hardware failures, log issues, assist with backups, and mentor teammates as an informal team leader.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vendor/product certifications preferred.
• A+ certification is beneficial.
• Solid demonstrable related experience in IT environments.
• Experience with server operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide install, break/fix, and routine maintenance at client sites.
• Support servers and network hardware; diagnose issues.
• Maintain logs of repairs and update ITSM queues.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure quality client solutions.
• May act as an informal team leader.
