Job summary

Hussmann is seeking a Scheduler/Dispatch role in Powder Springs, GA to coordinate service technician schedules for routine maintenance and emergencies. The role serves as the central point of contact between customers, technicians, and internal teams, ensuring timely communication and efficient routing.

You will prioritize calls, manage open work orders, and optimize resources to meet service demands while supporting branch profitability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• 0–5 years related experience or training.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• HVAC/refrigeration knowledge preferred.
• Experience with dispatch systems or field service platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and respond to calls from the call center.
• Prioritize calls and optimize technician schedules and routes.
• Manage open service work orders and dispatch technicians.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams; update status in systems.
• Maintain accurate work orders and scheduling information.
• Ensure SLA adherence and timely customer updates.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls, emails, and messages related to scheduling.
• Support branch profitability by reducing aging and dispatch costs.
