Job summary

Traba is seeking a Field Operator to act as the in-market operational hands—recruiting, onboarding, and preparing workers for placement across the market. You’ll support multiple customer sites as volume and coverage demand.

You’ll be the local face of Traba to our workforce, building community partnerships, running onboarding sessions, and ensuring every worker is vetted and ready for their first shift. Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred in this fast-paced role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
• Bilingual English and Spanish strongly preferred.
• 1–2+ years in operations or customer-facing roles.
• Strong recruiting instincts and ability to source, screen, and convert candidates.
• Experience in fast-paced warehouse or field environments.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with workers across the market—from recruitment through placement and provide timely updates, feedback, and support.
• Develop and maintain relationships with workforce centers, community organizations, and local partners to drive worker pipeline and brand presence in the market.
• Oversee worker vetting, drug testing, and onboarding end-to-end, including large group onboarding sessions when volume calls for it.
• Manage the full worker funnel—sourcing, screening, scheduling, and converting applicants into placement-ready workers.
• Coordinate interviews and start schedules for new hires across customer sites, ensuring workers are matched to the right opportunities at the right time.
• Distribute and manage PPE, and provide on-site presence at customer facilities as needed to support new starts, escalations, or peak coverage.
• Maintain consistent, proactive feedback loops with Traba HQ — flagging market trends, funnel issues, or coverage risks early.
