Job summary

Traba is seeking a Field Operator to serve as the in-market operational hands—recruiting, onboarding, and preparing workers for placement across the market. You will be the local face of Traba, building community partnerships, running onboarding sessions, and ensuring workers are vetted and ready for their first shift.

This role requires bilingual communication, strong recruiting instincts, and the flexibility to shift across worker funnel needs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• 1–2+ years in operations or customer-facing roles (staffing, manufacturing, warehouse, retail, etc.).
• Strong recruiting instincts: sourcing, screening and converting candidates.
• Comfortable running large group onboarding and presenting to workers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; professional demeanor.
• Flexible to shift priorities and locations as market needs change.
• Organized, detail-oriented, proactive problem solving in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Worker Relationship Management: build relationships from recruiting through placement and provide updates and support.
• Community & Partner Relationships: engage workforce centers and local partners to drive pipeline and brand presence.
• Worker Vetting & Onboarding: oversee vetting, drug testing, and end-to-end onboarding, including large sessions.
• Worker Funnel Management: manage sourcing, screening, scheduling, and conversion to placement-ready workers.
• New Start Scheduling: coordinate interviews and start dates across customer sites.
• PPE & On-Site Support: distribute PPE and provide on-site presence for new starts and coverage needs.
• Communication & Reporting: provide feedback to HQ on trends, funnel issues, and risks.
