Job summary

Traba is seeking a Field Operator to recruit, onboard, and prepare workers for placement across the market. You will be the local face of Traba, building community partnerships and conducting onboarding sessions to ensure workers are vetted, prepared, and ready for their first shift.

You will interact with multiple customer sites as volume requires, maintaining professional standards and flexible coverage to meet market needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• English required.
• 1–2+ years in operations or customer-facing environments (staffing, manufacturing, warehouse, retail, food service, teaching, or on-site coordination).
• Strong recruiting instincts and ability to source, screen, and convert candidates.
• Ability to run large group onboarding sessions and present to workers.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Professional demeanor representing Traba with workers, partners, and clients.
• Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities and locations.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with workers across the market from recruiting through placement and provide timely updates and support.
• Develop and maintain relationships with workforce centers, community organizations, and local partners to drive worker pipeline and brand presence.
• Oversee worker vetting, drug testing, and onboarding end-to-end, including large group onboarding sessions.
• Manage the full worker funnel—sourcing, screening, scheduling, and converting applicants into placement-ready workers.
• Coordinate interviews and start schedules for new hires across customer sites.
