Job summary

Traba is seeking a Field Operator to act as the in-market operational hands, focusing on recruiting, onboarding, and preparing workers across the market. You’ll serve as the local Traba face to the workforce, build community partnerships, run onboarding sessions, and ensure workers are vetted and ready for their first shift.

This role requires bilingual communication and a strong recruiting instinct. You’ll interact with multiple customer sites as coverage needs dictate, manage the full worker

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; higher degrees preferred.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) required.
• 1–2+ years in operations or customer-facing environments.
• Strong recruiting instincts and ability to source, screen, and convert candidates.
• Experience running large group onboarding sessions.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
• Professional demeanor and ability to represent Traba with workers, partners, and client stakeholders.
• Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities and locations.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and a proactive problem solver.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic warehouse and field environments.

Responsibilities

• Worker Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with workers across the market—from recruiting through placement and provide timely updates, feedback, and support.
• Community & Partner Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with workforce centers, community organizations, and local partners to drive worker pipeline and brand presence in the market.
• Worker Vetting & Onboarding: Oversee worker vetting, drug testing, and onboarding end-to-end, including large group onboarding sessions when volume requires.
• Worker Funnel Management: Manage the full worker funnel—sourcing, screening, scheduling, and converting applicants into placement-ready workers.
• New Start Scheduling: Coordinate interviews and start schedules for new hires across customer sites, ensuring proper matching.
• PPE & On-Site Support: Distribute and manage PPE, and provide on-site presence at customer facilities as needed.
• Communication & Reporting: Maintain proactive feedback loops with Traba HQ—flag market trends, funnel issues, or coverage risks.
