Job summary

Traba, Inc. is seeking a Field Operator in Austin, TX to serve as the in-market operational hands, recruiting, onboarding, and preparing workers for placement across the market. You’ll interact with multiple customer sites and be the local face of Traba to our workforce.

You’ll build community partnerships, run onboarding sessions, vet and prep workers, manage the full funnel from sourcing to placement, coordinate new starts, and provide on-site support and reporting to HQ.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; higher degree preferred.
• Bilingual English and Spanish required.
• 1–2+ years in operations or customer-facing roles.
• Strong recruiting, screening, and scheduling skills.
• Ability to run large onboarding sessions and present to workers.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication.
• Professional, adaptable, and able to shift locations.
• Comfortable in fast-paced warehouse/field environments.

Responsibilities

• Worker Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with workers across the market — owning the experience from recruiting through placement.
• Community & Partner Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with workforce centers and local partners to drive worker pipeline and brand presence.
• Worker Vetting & Onboarding: Oversee worker vetting, drug testing, and onboarding end-to-end, including large group onboarding sessions when needed.
• Worker Funnel Management: Manage sourcing, screening, scheduling, and converting applicants into placement-ready workers.
• New Start Scheduling: Coordinate interviews and start schedules across customer sites for new hires.
• PPE & On-Site Support: Distribute PPE and provide on-site presence at customer facilities.
• Communication & Reporting: Maintain proactive feedback loops with HQ — flag market trends and coverage risks.
