bioMérieux in the United States is seeking a Field Systems Engineer to service customers across the region and nationally, operating remotely with minimal supervision and willing to travel overnight on short notice.

You will install, maintain, upgrade, and repair instruments, promote service agreements, and collaborate with sales, applications, and support teams to deliver a best-in-class customer experience while driving field service revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronic Technology, Computer Science, Biomedical or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs and perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
• Build trust with customers and promote service agreements.
• Drive field service revenue through preventive maintenance and equipment moves.
• Attend product training at Durham, NC or St. Louis, MO within the first year.
• Travel for site visits, with overnight stays for wide territories and occasional national travel.
• Provide on-call support during weekends/holidays as part of rotation.
