Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking a Survey Technician through the DOD SkillBridge Program to gain hands-on field experience in surveying. This three-month immersive opportunity focuses on boundary, topographic, ALTA surveys, and GPS data collection with seasoned crew chiefs.

The position is based out of Fargo or Bismarck, ND, and involves working with Trimble equipment, Robotic Total Station, and GPS systems while collaborating with staff, landowners, and contractors. Relocation is not included.

Qualifications

• Must be a military service member with 180 days or fewer remaining before separation date.
• Ability to work outdoors in extended conditions and rugged terrain.
• General knowledge of land surveying and AutoCAD drafting preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license and own transportation; reimbursement for business travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with boundary surveys, construction staking, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and GPS data collection.
• Participate in construction staking activities.
• Gain experience with Trimble, Robotic Total Station, and GPS equipment.
• Interact with staff, landowners, contractors, and subcontractors.
