Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Survey Technician through the DOD SkillBridge Program to gain field experience.

You will work with seasoned crew chiefs on boundary surveys, construction staking, and GPS data collection, using Trimble and Robotic Total Station equipment. Ideal candidates are military service members within 180 days of separation, physically capable of outdoor work, with a basic knowledge of land surveying and AutoCAD drafting; a valid driver's license and own

Qualifications

• Must be a Military Service Member with 180 days of service or fewer remaining before your separation date.
• Ability to work in extended outdoor conditions and navigate rugged terrain.
• General knowledge of land surveying and AutoCAD drafting preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable; own transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with boundary surveys, construction staking, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and GPS data collection.
• On construction staking activities.
• Gain experience with Trimble, Robotic Total Station, and GPS equipment.
• Interact with staff, landowners, contractors, and subcontractors.
