Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking a Survey Technician through the DOD SkillBridge Program. This 3-month immersive experience will have you working with seasoned crew chiefs in the field, applying surveying skills to real projects and gaining hands-on exposure to Trimble, Robotic Total Station and GPS equipment.

This role is based out of our Brookings, SD office. You will assist with boundary surveys, construction staking, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and GPS data collection while

Qualifications

• Military service member with 180 days or fewer remaining before separation.
• Ability to work in extended outdoor conditions and rugged terrain.
• General knowledge of land surveying and AutoCAD drafting preferred.
• Must have valid driver''s license and own transportation; on-boarding MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with boundary surveys, construction staking, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and GPS data collection.
• Participate in construction staking activities.
• Gain experience with Trimble, Robotic Total Station, and GPS equipment.
• Interact with staff, landowners, contractors, and subcontractors.
