Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking a Survey Technician through our DOD SkillBridge Program in Minnesota. This three-month immersive opportunity pairs you with seasoned crew chiefs to apply new surveying skills on real projects.

The role will be based out of the Chaska and Oakdale, MN offices and involves boundary, construction staking, topographic, and ALTA surveys, using Trimble, Robotic Total Station, and GPS equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be a Military Service Member with 180 days of service or fewer remaining before your separation date.
• Ability to work in extended outdoor conditions and be physically capable of navigating rugged terrain for duties outlined above.
• General knowledge of land surveying and AutoCAD drafting are preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under the firm's standard rates. Must also own their own transportation. Reimbursed for business-related travel. MVR check during on-boarding.

Responsibilities

• Assist with boundary surveys, construction staking, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and GPS data collection.
• Be on construction staking.
• Gain experience with Trimble, Robotic Total Station, and GPS equipment.
• Interact with staff, landowners, contractors, and subcontractors.
