Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking a Survey Technician through its DOD SkillBridge Program, offering a 3-month immersive experience for transitioning service members to apply field skills on real projects.

The role can be based out of our Chaska and Oakdale, MN offices, with exposure to boundary surveys, staking, topo work, ALTA surveys, and GPS data collection while working with Trimble equipment and GPS tools.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of land surveying and AutoCAD drafting is preferred.
• Must be a Military Service Member with 180 days of service or fewer remaining before separation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with boundary surveys, construction staking, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and GPS data collection.
• Be on construction staking duties.
• Gain experience with Trimble, Robotic Total Station, and GPS equipment.
• Interact with staff, landowners, contractors, and subcontractors.
