Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking a Survey Technician under the DOD SkillBridge Program in Minnesota. The role emphasizes a 3-month immersive field experience, working with senior crew chiefs on boundary, topographic, ALTA surveys, and GPS data collection.

The position requires outdoor endurance, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work with Trimble equipment, with relocation not included. Servicemembers approaching separation are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Military service member with 180 days or fewer remaining before separation date.
• General knowledge of land surveying and AutoCAD drafting preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and own transportation; willing to travel for work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with boundary surveys, construction staking, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and GPS data collection.
• Participate in construction staking.
• Gain experience with Trimble, Robotic Total Station, and GPS equipment.
• Interact with staff, landowners, contractors, and subcontractors.
