Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking a Survey Technician through the DOD SkillBridge Program in the United States. This three‑month immersive field assignment will pair you with seasoned crew chiefs to apply boundary, construction staking, topo, and ALTA surveying techniques using Trimble gear.

The position can be based out of our Fargo or Bismark, ND offices. Service members within 180 days of separation are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be a Military Service Member with 180 days of service or fewer remaining before separation.
• Ability to work outdoors in extended conditions and rugged terrain.
• General knowledge of land surveying and AutoCAD drafting preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and own transportation; travel may be reimbursed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with boundary surveys, construction staking, topo surveys, ALTA surveys, and GPS data collection.
• Participate in construction staking tasks.
• Gain experience with Trimble, Robotic Total Station, and GPS equipment.
• Interact with staff, landowners, contractors, and subcontractors.
