Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. invites military service members to join a 3-month DOD SkillBridge program as a Survey Technician in Milwaukee, WI.

The role focuses on boundary surveys, staking, ALTA/topographic surveys, and GPS data collection, with hands-on time on Trimble and Robotic Total Station equipment. You will work closely with seasoned crew chiefs in the field, gaining practical skills for future civilian positions while interacting with staff and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Must be a Military Service Member with 180 days of service or fewer remaining before separation date.
• Ability to work in extended outdoor conditions and rugged terrain.
• General knowledge of land surveying and AutoCAD drafting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with boundary surveys, construction staking, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and GPS data collection.
• Participate in construction staking activities.
• Gain experience with Trimble, Robotic Total Station, and GPS equipment.
• Interact with staff, landowners, contractors, and subcontractors.
