Job summary

TKC Holdings, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Field Support Technician to travel to customer sites and repair proprietary equipment including networking gear, kiosks used by staff and inmates, and vending machines.

The role supports Service Desk, with remote assistance as needed. You will travel within the service area using a company vehicle and may be required to travel to Saint Louis for hands-on training.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
• Ability to present information clearly to managers, clients and the public.
• Must have T-1 and analog circuit repair knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of multiple network disciplines and advanced diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service while coordinating with the Service Desk, regional staff, and peers.
• Diagnose, test, repair and replace kiosks, PCs, vending machines, networking equipment, and other IT equipment located within Jails and Prisons.
• Work with Service Desk on preventative maintenance and walkthroughs.
• Use provided company car to travel to customer locations within service area.
• Update Work Order (WO) module with travel time, notes on work performed and WO resolution.
• Willingness to learn new equipment and components as products evolve.
• Travel into Saint Louis as needed for hands-on training with equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
