Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Field Support Technician to provide remote and on-site IT support for ANG modernization across CONUS. This role involves deployment, installation, integration and sustainment of standardized hardware, software and networks to improve operational capability and mission readiness.

You will work with systems engineers, network engineers, cybersecurity staff, logistics and program management to install, troubleshoot and maintain IT systems in line with DoW requirements.

Qualifications

• DoD 8140 Level II certs (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND)
• Experience with enterprise hardware and networking tech
• Ability to read engineering docs and wiring diagrams
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service for technical/non-technical users
• Ability to travel 50%+ for nationwide deployments

Responsibilities

• Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment.
• Performs maintenance and support on products at customer sites.
• Analyzes performance and troubleshoots malfunctions.
• Performs system programming and installation changes.
• Provides on-site end-user training.
• Travels to customer sites and delivers field technician services.
• Resolves technical problems and adapts products to requirements.
• Reviews configurations to ensure successful production deployment.
• Collaborates with developers to reduce recurring incidents.
